oral motor musculature strengthens and sucking abilities
increase.
¥ PINK represents the average sucking and rest rate that an
infant should be able to maintain. This Mode is used after
the infant has developed the musculature and
perseverance necessary to suck continually. Infants may
require additional breaks if they are unable to breathe
through their nose only efficiently. The length of time to
get to this phase of training is different for every infant.
REMINDERS
When feeding your baby, hold the bottle at an approximate 45degree angle. Keep your baby propped up rather than lying
down when feeding. When traveling, always keep the bottle
upright and use the travel cap to prevent leaking.
