occurs remove the bottle. The infant should start sucking
as he/she did on the ZUZU pacifier.
3. Continue to do short trials of placing the bottle into the
infant9s mouth and removing at any sign of choking,
distress, drooling.
4. Repeat this until the nipple and fluid in the bottle are
accepted by the infant. It may take multiple feeding
training sessions for the child to accept liquid from the
vibrating nipple. It is important to still allow time for the
infant to swallow and breathe, which may require you to
remove the bottle from the infant9s mouth for a moment
between each bottle presentation.
NOTE: The ZUZU vibrating disk has built in rest periods between
vibrations BUT you will need to provide additional breaks for
your infant in the beginning. Try allowing a break after each
sip/swallow and then move to two sips/swallows and slowly
increase the amounts of sips/swallows before a break is
provided until the child can naturally feed and use the breaks
that the vibrating disk provides.
WHEN TO CHANGE FROM TRAINING MODE 1 BLUE TO
TRAINING MODE 2 PINK:
¥ BLUE represents slower than average infant sucking rate
