process three times, allowing the infant time to process in
between touches to the lips.

Finally present the ZUZU pacifier to the infant into the oral
cavity (mouth) allowing the child to experience at least
two vibrations before removing. Note: The infant may be
startled by the vibration at first, this is okay. Give the
infant time to process the sensation before removing it
from the mouth. Adverse reac>on for the ûrst 10-15
seconds is normal un>l the infant becomes adjusted to the
feeling. Most infants will become accustomed to the
feeling a]er a brief period.

Allow the infant a moment to re-regulate and then present
the ZUZU pacifier again into the oral cavity (mouth). Move
the ZUZU paciûer in and out of the baby9s mouth mul>ple
>mes making sure to be posi>ve even if you see adverse
reac>ons to the vibra>on.

This time, allow the infant to keep the ZUZU pacifier in
their mouth for as long as they want. Note: If the child has
poor oral muscle tone, they may not be able to hold the
pacific themselves yet due to poor lip seal pressure. You
may need to assist by putting one finger on the pacifier
gently to hold it in place. The infant will develop these
muscles over multiple exposures and will be able to hold
the pacifier independently in time. The infant should
slowly accept the vibra>ng paciûer, and it will s>mulate a
